Released on April 24, 2024, Richard Green’s single "Sea of Memories"
closes the first EP of his trilogy "A Journey".

From the first notes, I felt drawn into a contemplative space, as if the music itself was inviting me to pause and revisit my own memories.
Recorded at Studio Elfo near Piacenza, Italy, the track features pianist Irene Veneziano and the Archimia strings quartet. Their performance is breathtaking — Veneziano’s piano lines shimmer with clarity, while the strings add warmth and depth. Listening, I couldn’t help but admire how seamlessly they embody Green’s cinematic vision.
The composition itself is full of lyrical and dramatic emotions. In places, it seems nostalgic, almost fragile, but in the middle, it grows like anxious thoughts and energy. For me personally, this unification of sounds began to evoke in me the most contradictory experiences and to cause my own personal flurry of memories, like a raging sea.
What makes "Sea of Memories" resonate most for me is its concept: reflecting on life’s journey as we near its end. While the theme is profound, the music never feels heavy —it balances melancholy with light and darkness, leaving us thoughtful.
As part of "A Journey", this track is more than a song, it’s a chapter in a larger story. It underscored how music can transform personal memories into something timeless, carrying them forward long after silence returns.
